Couples Therapy
Partnerships can be a source of support and closeness – but also of conflict, misunderstanding and disappointment.Communication goes in circles, arguments are exhausting, intimacy fades. In some situations, the very question arises whether the relationship still has a future.
Aims and Goals
Couples therapy creates a safe space in which both partners can bring in their perspectives. Typical topics include:
-
Understanding and changing communication patterns
-
Working through conflicts constructively
-
Rediscovering closeness and intimacy
-
Dealing with affairs or breaches of trust
-
Making joint decisions about the future
My Approach
My approach is hypnosystemic: not one person is seen as the “problem,” but rather the communication within the relationship is the focus. Hypnotherapeutic elements can additionally help to release inner blockages, access resources and loosen entrenched patterns.
